We know they are needed and do great work in Nauvoo, but we are all so glad to have them back with us. They had a great summer filled with lots of visitors. They saw the Ogdens, the Dana Ogden-Brandts, the Efnors, the Mylroies, The Roy Renoufs, and The Jackson Renoufs. They were also able to visit with all of their favorite Nauvoo friends.
Luckily some of us Utahns (Jackson and Rosie, Telles, and Brisco) were able to catch Mom and Dad coming across the states on their way home, while we were in Bear Lake, UT last weekend. You can tell the grandchildren missed them immensely as they would not leave them alone. Every photo has someone talking their ear off--I have to admit it wasn't just the children. It was so fun to roast marshmellows and sit by a campfire with Grandma and Grandpa. We just love them!
Anyway we hope everyone is having a fun summer and Welcome Home Mom and Dad!
(Besides Grandma and Grandpa, their UHAUL was the most exciting attraction at the Lake)

I think that campfire looks great! The logs look so strategically placed, was this fire started by an Eagle Scout?
When we were at Bear Lake we caught an unusual frog. It was like a tiger-frog with spots. When found a stage. We had a little peformance.
We had a tasty time roasting hot dogs. It was at the end of the night, when everyone was done with the campfire I spilled water and Hawaiian Punch on it. I found out that steam came out of the campfire if you spill water on it and Hawaiian Punch.
We had a great time at the Lake! And we had a happily ever after at the lake. THE END!
