A 7-year-old from Huntington Beach has the chance to make Jif her bread and butter.
Huntington Beach's Ivy B. is one of 10 finalists nationwide in the peanut butter producer's Most Creative Sandwich Contest. She stands to win a $25,000 college fund.
Her entry, the Spicy-Sweet Peanut, Chicken and Cucumber Sammy, sounds like a high-end banh mi sandwich with its use of apples and honey.
Voting is open at jif.com until February, and the winner will be announced in March. Four runners up win $2,500 college funds.
