Friday Favorites

This week I (Catherine) am posting the Friday Favorites. I conducted in an innerview with our mystery guest and this is how it went.
Do you have a favorite anything that you would like to share with us?
"Oh I have a new favorite pie. Eagle Brand Lemon Pie. I just discovered it's my favorite. It's delicious. It inched out pecan."

Do you have a favorite I love Lucy episode?
"When Lucy is the witch in Little Ricky's school pageant. Because I love pageants."

What is your favorite game?
"Isn't it scrabble? It could be a Charles Wysocki puzzle. Or Uno. But I only like to play Uno with children because the rules are more flexible."
How about a favorite song?
"The Grand Canyon Suite. And Merry Almost Christmas from Frog and Toad. And Canadian Sunset."

Do you have a favorite ride at Disneyland?
"It's a great big beautiful tommorow. It's from GE's carrousel of progress."
But that's not there anymore.
"I know. And my lifetime goal is to write a children's book."

A few minutes later our mystery guest contacted me and said,
" I think my favorite movie is Max and Ruby and Alice in Wonderland. I know I'm a dead a give away."
Any guesses? If you're feeling shy, you can always leave your comment as anonymous. Any volunteers for a future Friday Favorite?
Post edit: Our mystery guest just contacted me and told me that Peter Pan is also their favorite. I assumed movie, but no it's the song. As you may have guessed there is no song entitled Peter Pan. Our mystery guest meant the song, "You can fly." When I said to our guest, "You have a lot of favorites," our guest replied, "Oh almost everything I like is my favorite song."
If you feeling unsure as to who this might be, wait a little while. I'm sure our silly mystery poster will be calling me again with more favorites!
Here's another post edit: Not only does our mystery guest love all these songs, but has also requested that I put ALL of them on the blog!

Well, well, who else could be so charming? There's only one woman in the world with that much personality packed into 60 inches. Thanks for sharing all your likes and loves with us, Mom. You've got a whole new generation growing up on crocheting, Max and Ruby, and whatever new recipe is your current favorite.

Geeeeeeeee,
I wonder who it could be!
Mom you are the GREATEST!
I loved your answers especially the favorite ride at Disneyland that is no longer there.
It was so fitting to choose a ride that no longer exists.
That ride and song really were the best.
It showed all these different scenes of a family and grandparents and children from the past to the future, and I remember loving the Christmas scene.
I also Love that Mother has so many FAVORITES!
I understand completely, and always have to distinguish my favorites by referring to something as my FAVORITE-Favorite!
Well, there's no one better to sit down and eat a bowl of popcorn with, or watch Max and Ruby with,
or play a flexible-bend-the rules for 2 year olds game of Uno with.
Face it there's nobody better than Mom!
She's right up there with Dad!
Would you like to know one of my Favorite-favorite things about Mom???????????????????????????????????
I'm sure it won't surprise anyone!
It's this: Her sense of Humor!
Mom has the best Sense of Humor, and can see the humor and absurdity in the ridiculous, and always, always laughs when anyone teases her.
I think I inherited Mom's sense of humor, which makes sense that her sense of humor is my Favorite-favorite.
Thanks Catherine, for making Mom the mystery guest. This was SO FUN! Happy Mother's Day, Mom. You are the kindest, gentlest mother anyone could ever want, and you're always ready to laugh at the absurdity of life.
Please keep listing your Favorites.
I will read them all.

And one more thing-the ride does still exist! At Disneyworld! Maybe Dad can make your dreams come true and take you there for a trip down memory lane. E
