Once upon a time in far away Whittier
A family of five were anticipating the birth
Of a baby child to be born before Christmas Day.
And to the delight of all, the surprise was a little infant
Named to be sweet charming Michelle.
She had to be checked from head to toe
and the doctors and nurses shook their heads
We better keep her close to us for quiet observation.
Gladly the parents were joyfully relieved
when the news came, baby girl was doing fine.
Over the years, Michelle grew and married
with children all of her own and a big he-man
Collegiante type mate. So on the twenty-fourth day
and Christmas Eve, we like to think back on the
special day when Michelle was placed in a stocking so red
Smiling and daintily nodding her head
"Look what Santa brought, ...ME
Just for you, mom and dad."
Happy Birthday Michelle!!

Cute littl poem Mom, and I love the photos. Michelle always has been a fun, happy, easy going wonderful sister! Happy Birthday Miss Michelle! We love you (even if we were all secretly jealous of your stocking :)
Dear Michelle, this song you hear when you open up this part of your photo and poem, was the music that filled the hospital when you joined us in this world. It created in my heart a deep feeling of gratitude for the safe birth of a new little life entrusted to our care. "You were born with the spirit of Christmas and ever retained it." Love Mom
Happy Birthday, Shell. I'm only sorry that we're not the same age anymore. Like Heidi said, I've always been jealous of that stocking too. Hope you had a very merry birthday and a happy christmas too.
